Special Services

As part of its endeavour to bring the latest and advanced medical care to the common man, the department has started the voice clinic and oncology clinic. The department has started aquiring the latest equipment and expertise for conducting these special services. These clinics provide an excellent opportunity to train young doctors in the latest trends and concepts.

Voice clinic: - A specialised weekly clinic for diagnosis and management of voice disorders is conducted. It facilitates speedy and accurate diagnosis of voice disorders. Treatment is planned by the ENT surgeon and the Speech therapist on the spot.

Oncology clinic: - Under the guidance of Dr. Sultan Pradhan, the well known Oncosurgeon, the department is conducting a weekly oncology clinic to cater to the needs of head and neck cancer patients. Patients coming to the OP with head and neck cancers are evaluated in detail and plan of action formulated. The patients requiring surgery are operated at the earliest while those requiring chemotherapy and radiotherapy are referred to suitable centers.
